Park in the western lot labeled 'Second Car and Shower Parking' on the map.
Walk west to the end of the road and get on the trail going north. At the intersection, turn left to walk west along the water.
Supposedly there is a trail on your left after the bridge, but don't take it (even if you can find it). Keep going a bit and take the next left. This should loop you back around towards the swampy area.

Walk until you come to two benches near the water and a seemingly dead end. From the bench furthest from the water, walk 22 footfalls back the way you came. (You should pass one yellow blaze on your left.)

On the lefthand side is the uprooted base of a fallen tree. To the right of that is a log. In the nearside of the log is the box, covered by a SPOS.
